Bhubaneswar, Feb 9 (Inditop.com) Two Maoists have been arrested from Gudari area in Orissa’s Rayagada district Tuesday, police said.
“We have arrested two Maoists during a combing operation. They participated in several Maoist activities,” said Anup Krishna, Superintendent of Police of Rayagada, about 400 km from here.
Police recovered some Maoist literature, flags and maps from them. They have been identified as Govinda Sabar, 28, and Laxman Sabar, 35, from Dimiriguda village under Gudari police limit of the district.
Both of them had participated in the attack on an armoury in Nayagarh district in 2008. They were also wanted in several criminal cases.
