London, Nov 7 (Inditop) Pop diva Madonna praised US President-elect Barack Obama during a performance at the Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles as part of her ongoing ‘Sticky and Sweet’ tour.
She also expressed her disappointment that Californians had voted to veto the state’s recent approval of gay marriage, reports dailymail.co.uk.
“We have something to celebrate. I’m about the happiest girl on the planet right. I’m very sorry to hear we did not win on Proposition 8, but we will never give up the fight, no we will not. If we got an African-American in the White House, then we can have gay marriages,” she said.
Singers Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake also performed with the diva.
Among the stars in attendance at the gig were German supermodel Heidi Klum, “Heroes” actress Hayden Panettiere, Kate Moss, Jennifer Lopez and former “Ally McBeal” star Lucy Liu.
