New York, Oct 17 (Inditop) California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is being sued by prisoner Terry Alexander who claims he is confined to a wheelchair for life because the actor-turned-governor did not provide him proper medical attention in jail.
Tmz.com reports that Alexander is suing for $100,000. Alexander, who is in Wasco State Prison in California, wrote in his lawsuit that he developed a debilitating disease called “valley fever”. The fever was caused by the location of the prison.
Alexander claimed he filled out medical papers and requested for a transfer, but he never received one. And now blames the neglect on the part of authorities for the reason he is now in a “wheelchair for life”.
