New Delhi, Dec 16 (Inditop.com) The skies in the city cleared Wednesday after a brief spell of rain the previous day, but Met officials said the capital is likely to receive some more light showers in the coming days.
“The western disturbance over Jammu and Kashmir that caused the rain in Delhi this week is still prevailing. Therefore, we may receive some more light showers in the next few days,” an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) here said.
A day after Delhi received 2.8 mm of rainfall, the minimum temperature recorded at 8.30 a.m. Wednesday was 10.6 degrees Celsius, three notches above average.
“The maximum temperature today (Wednesday) was one degree above the average at 23.6 degrees Celsius. A layer of mist has surrounded Delhi, causing a slight increase in temperature,” the official added.
